Become a Vendor

Retail Farmer:

Any vendor who is actually engaged in the business of growing, raising and/or making their own products. For all crafters, produce vendors, the Regional Market require$1,000,000.00 general liability insurance/Tax ID # if selling taxable items. For Baked Goods/ Dairy Products. NYS Tax ID Number ,General Liability Insurance, a proof of Sanitary Inspection from the Dept. of Agriculture & Markets is also required. For Flowers/potted plants¸ a NYS Tax ID number and a Nursery Certificate is also required. For wine products, a NYS Tax ID number and NYS Farm Winery License are required.

Flea Market:

Any person selling used items (Sundays only). A NYS Tax ID number and $1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance is required.

Prepared Food:

Any person selling prepared food for consumption on the market. NYS Tax ID number, $1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance and a Health Permit are required. May also require additional certificates depending on cooking method. (opening is based on prepared food building availability, please contact our office for more information)

Out of State:

Any vendors that buys fruits, vegetables, nursery products, plants, cut flowers, herbs and fish, grown, raised, made and/or processed outside of New York State for resale. $1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance is required. If selling any taxable items, a NYS Tax ID is also required. Nursery certificate for plants.

New York State Dealer:

Shall mean any person who buys New York State grown fruits and vegetables/plants for resale on the market. $1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance. Also Tax ID may required if selling taxable items.

Commercial:

Manufactured or processed items. NYS Tax ID number and $1,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance.
